This is the journal of Alix, Annie, Catherine, Dana, Joanna, and Rachel, a.k.a. the Lunch Table Girls, the Lesbo Brigade, and the Cheese Graters. We were the lunch table that rocked the KHS big cafeteria sixth period during the 2003–2004 school year. We were like no other. We did awesome things like celebrate Thanksgiving with all the fixin's, a table cloth, and even a centerpiece turkey for decor. And for Christmas we did pretty much the same (seasonally appropriate, of course). When spring came around, we ate outside, played hacky sack with Catherine's Dad's rock-hard biscuits, and had many a-picnic. (One of our favorite memories is when Catherine threw some jerk's shoe over the fence, down the wooded hill.) Most of all we had an awesome time being loud, getting funny looks, getting called awesome names like "the Lesbo Brigade," and just being very secure with our sexuality. Sadly, when sophomore year ended, so did our table. This journal exists mainly to let us reminisce about the good times and keep up with the new.
